President Lee to meet with DP and PPP leaders on Mon. to foster cooperation

President Lee Jae Myung will host the leaders of the two major parties, Jung Chung-rae of the Democratic Party and newly elected People Power Party Chairman Jang Dong-hyeok , for a luncheon next Monday.

This will be the first meeting between the president and Chairman Jang, who was elected just last week.

Following the main event, the two are scheduled to hold a separate one-on-one meeting to discuss key issues without a specific agenda.

The Presidential Office hopes the gathering will open a new chapter in strengthening dialogue between the government and the opposition.
