Autumn seems to be trying hard to settle in.
More unsettled weather is in the forecast across Korea today.
This morning, steady rain is falling across the central region, dropping heavier rain in the capital area and parts of Gangwon-do Province.
Heavy rain advisories are now in place for parts of Seoul and Gyeonggi-do Province.
The capital region and parts of the west coast may see up to 60 millimeters of rain.
Gangwon-do might get 5 to 40 millimeters, while other regions could see 5 to 20 millimeters.
Across the south and Jeju, passing rain is in the forecast along with thunderstorms and gusty winds.
At the same time, the heat wave continues in the southern parts of Korea.
Daegu and Busan will get up to 31 degrees, Seoul tops out at 29 degrees.
Tomorrow we'll climb back up to 33 degrees.
But over the weekend, another round of widespread rain will move in, bringing slightly cooler air to ease the late-summer heat.
