'KPop Demon Hunters' leads to near twofold increase in K-pop streams in U.S.

The impact of "KPOP Demon Hunters" on South Korea's K-pop itself in the U.S. has been tangible.

According to music data company Luminate streams of K-pop surpassed 300 MILLION as of August 7th nearly DOUBLE the number of streams seen on June 20th when the Netflix animation was released.

A graph by the company shows the popularity.. of the movie's soundtrack solidified the K-pop genre's presence in the American market.
