Taylor Swift announces engagement to Travis Kelce

American pop superstar Taylor Swift announced her engagement to NFL star Travis Kelce on Tuesday, sharing a joint post on social media featuring photos of their floral proposal.

The post's caption, which earned more than 20 million likes, read, "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married."

Swift and Kelce, both 35, have been dating for two years since 2023, after Swift performed at Arrowhead Stadium, home of Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs.

President Donald Trump congratulated the couple, saying, "I wish them a lot of luck."
