[Weather] Heatwave continues with rain across Korea

It was a rough morning commute with dense fog in western regions, but conditions have gotten better with a rise in temperatures.

However, we still have some showers in the forecast for the east coast regions.

Passing rain is forecast for Chungcheongbuk-do and Gyeongsangnam-do Provinces and Jeju.

Yesterday's rainfall eased the heat wave in the central parts of Korea.

We didn't have to deal with a tropical night last night, and I am sure you felt that relief on your way to work this morning.

AND for now, heatwave alerts only remain in southern provinces, but temperatures will climb high enough for heatwave alerts to be reissued in more areas.

And this afternoon, Seoul and Daegu will reach 33 degrees.

Gyeongju will get a heat relief from yesterday's searing heat.

UV rays will be very strong in most areas.

It looks like frequent rain from Friday in the capital area.

Then September will start on a rainy note nationwide.

That should bring much-awaited heat relief to the country.
