S. Korea's Prime Minister to meet Microsoft cofounder Bill Gates

Prime Minister Kim Min-seok is set to meet Bill Gates, Microsoft cofounder and chairman of the Gates Foundation, during his visit to South Korea beginning Thursday.

Kim told reporters on Tuesday said the two will discuss "a range of global issues," including public health.

He added that Gates' visit reflects his strong desire to deepen cooperation with the Korean government in those areas.

According to local media, Gates is also expected to visit the National Assembly, where he will speak to lawmakers on Korea's contributions and leadership on the international stage.
