[Weather] Heat wave across the country, high UV rays nationwide

The heat continues day and night around the country.

This morning, heat wave warnings were expanded to the eastern parts of Gyeonggi-do Province.

The daytime temperature in Seoul rose to 32 degrees Celsius today and nearly 34 degrees over the east coast and southern regions where heat wave warnings are in place.

In addition, UV rays are strong nationwide.

They will start at high levels in the morning but will turn into very high levels in the Seoul metropolitan area, the Chungcheong-do provinces, eastern regions and the south coast in the afternoon.

Tomorrow, morning will start off at 24 to 26 degrees all over the country.

Highs will move up to 31 degrees in Seoul, 33 degrees in Daejeon and Jeju.

Rain is forecast for the Seoul metropolitan area and inland parts of Gangwon-do Province tomorrow.
