In the United States, cable news channel MSNBC is undergoing a major transformation, announcing it will rebrand as MS NOW, short for "My Source News, Opinion, and the World."
It will follow the upcoming spin-off from NBCUniversal.
As part of the rebrand, the network will also no longer use the iconic NBC peacock logo.
MS NOW's president, Rebecca Kutler, said that the shift represents a change to chart an independent course separate from the NBC legacy.
