[Weather] Muggy all day with passing rain, hotter in south

Currently, heatwave alerts remain in place nationwide, with the exception of some parts of Gangwon-do Province.

Heatwave warnings continue for the east coast of Gangwon and the southern regions with expected highs to hover above 35 degrees.

Gyeongju will be sweltering hot at 36 degrees Celsius, Seoul will see a high of 31 degrees with cloudier skies in the afternoon.

There could be light showers in the capital area from early morning to afternoon tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the heatwave and tropical nights will continue through the rest of the week and into the weekend.
