U.S. says it looks forward to working with S. Korea to advance 'ironclad' alliance

Meanwhile speaking of Washington its top diplomat has reaffirmed U.S. commitment to advance the quote "ironclad" alliance with South Korea.

In a statement on Wednesday local time U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio also congratulated South Korea on the 80th anniversary of its liberation from Japanese colonial rule that will be celebrated tomorrow that is Friday August 15th.

Calling South Korea an "indispensable ally" Rubio said Washington will continue to confront the most pressing global security challenges by working together with the government here.
