S. Korea's first couple hosts Vietnam's top leader, spouse at Cheong Wa Dae

And South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and First Lady Kim Hea Kyung invited the top political leader and his spouse Ngo Phuong Ly to the Sangchunjae reception hall at Cheong Wa Dae on Tuesday.

Presidential Spokesperson Kang Yu-jung said the couples enjoyed musical performances featuring traditional instruments from each country.

Over tea and a walk in the Nokjiwon garden, the two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to advancing bilateral cooperation.

The Presidential Office says this was the first official event at Sangchunjae under the new administration and called it "the highest honor" in hosting a state guest.
