In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the 10th International Waterfall Jumping Competition took place in Jajce on Saturday.
The contest drew 16 divers from across the globe to leap from the 20-meter-high Pliva Waterfall into the deep pool below in a unique traditional event.
Competitors executed the "Lasta" or "Swallow" style jumps, diving styles in which the arms extend outward and the diver enters the water head first.
The competition, supported by local and federal authorities, and held annually, continues to grow as a tourism highlight.
