The three female and one male cubs were born in January, marking an important addition to the small remaining population of the rare species, which is extinct in the wild.
The last known photograph of a wild Barbary lion was taken in 1925 and is believed to have disappeared completely by the mid-1960s.
Today, fewer than 200 Barbary lions are thought to remain in captivity.
