Disney drops 'Avatar: Fire and Ash' first look trailer and stills

Disney has released the first official trailer for Avatar: Fire and Ash, the third installment in James Cameron's epic sci-fi saga, on Monday.

The trailer debuted exclusively in theaters alongside Marvel's The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and is now available online.

It encompasses the visionary land, sea, and air worlds of Pandora at their most dramatic, and also unveils the Ash clan, a tribe that inhabits volcanic regions.

Reviews praise the trailer as a "huge level up" in action, world-building, and emotional depth.

The movie is set to open in theaters in December.
