The Bank of Korea has shared suggestions to bolster foreign customer participation on Korean e-commerce platforms.
The bank's report on Monday claimed complex registration procedures are major barriers against potential foreign customers and advised simplifying these signup requirements.
The report also emphasized the need to adopt international payment methods as well as credit cards issued overseas.
Despite the growing demand for K-products findings for last year show foreign direct purchases remained at one-fifth the size of purchases made by Koreans.
