G-Dragon appointed as ambassador for Gyeongju APEC Leaders' Meeting

K-pop star G-Dragon has been appointed as the honorary ambassador for the 2025 Gyeongju APEC Leaders' Meeting.

Prime Minister Kim Min-seok, the head of the meeting preparation committee, made the announcement on Wednesday via social media, calling G-Dragon "an artist that represents South Korea."

He added that the singer has consistently shown passion and creativity through his artistic endeavors, such as recently transmitting music into space.
