Producer prices rebounded in June after retreating for two straight months in response to higher costs of agricultural and livestock products.
According to the Bank of Korea on this Tuesday last month's producer price index rose by 0-point-1 percent on month as agriculture forestry and fisheries products gained 0-point-6 percent.
Bank officials add the heatwave and heavy rain this July have also rendered prices for farm and seafood products less predictable.
They also believe June's higher oil prices might affect this month's producer prices.
