Additional 5,000-ton new destroyer to be built by Oct. 2026: N. Korea

North Korea will build a THIRD five-thousand-ton destroyer by October next year.

The regime's state media on Tuesday covered an event at Nampo Shipyard this past Monday to mark the start of the warship's construction.

October 10th has reportedly been chosen as the completion date as it is the anniversary of the founding of the North Korean Workers' Party.

Back in April North Korea unveiled its first five-thousand-ton destroyer and a second destroyer of the same class was launched in June following a botched attempt in May.
