President Lee Jae Myung will hold his first press conference on Thursday to mark one month in office.
According to Presidential Spokesperson Kang Yu-jung, the event will be held as a town hall meeting for closer communication with more reporters.
The Q&A sessions will cover key issues, including the economy, politics, diplomacy, and culture.
While former presidents typically held their first press conferences around the 1-hundred-day-mark, Kang said Thursday's event was scheduled earlier to explain the new administration's policy direction and priorities, as it began without a transition committee.
It will start at 10 AM, though the venue has yet to be announced.
