Pres. Lee meets leading cultural figures

President Lee Jae Myung met with leading figures in the cultural sector on Monday to discuss ways to promote Korea as a "global cultural powerhouse."

Invited to the presidential office in Yongsan were five prominent artists,... including musical writer Park Chun-hue who wrote Tony award-winning "Maybe Happy Ending,"... soprano Jo Sumi,... and ballerino Park Youn-jae.

The President listened to their voices... on ways to support artists and their activities... as well as ways to promote overseas "K-art."
