South Korea's intelligence agency says North Korea may send more troops to Russia, as early as next month.
In a closed-door briefing to the National Assembly, the National Intelligence Service reportedly said the North has already been recruiting to send a second batch of troops to Russia.
It believes the troops could be deployed to Russia as early as July or August, based on the recent visit of Russian Security Council chief Sergei Shoigu to the North Korean capital this month, and recent indications of recruitment.
The first deployment of troops took place a month after Shoigu visited Pyongyang last year.
