President Lee urges for peace to guarantee solid security

President Lee Jae Myung believes the most solid form of security was possible by making peace.

Remarks to this end were shared on his social media platform to mark a solemn anniversary today that is June 25th which is the day that war broke out on the Korean peninsula.

While honoring the selfless sacrifices of all those involved he also pledged better compensation for the country's war veterans in light of their "extraordinary" services.

Adding that security is key for the economy the president also made note of South Korea's rise from ruins to become an economic powerhouse.
