Bolivia's city of La Paz celebrated its annual Gran Poder, or the Great Power festival, over the weekend, blending traditional Catholic devotion with indigenous Andean culture.
The streets were filled with vibrant dances, prayers, and music, dedicated to a 17th-century painting of Jesus Christ.
While the day of the Great Power is typically exuberant, the event was more subdued this year, with a moment of silence for six people killed in clashes between protesters and police following the disqualification of a former President.
