Trump appreciates Musk apology: White House

The recent conflict between U.S. President Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk appears to be heading toward a truce.

The Tesla CEO on Wednesday took to X to say that he "regrets" some of his posts about Trump, adding they "went too far."

In response, the White House Press Secretary said Trump is aware of Must's post, and "appreciates it."

Meanwhile, Trump, during a podcast interview with the New York Post on the same day, praised Musk's post --adding that while he doesn't blame him for some of his assessments, he was "disappointed."

The White House added that the administration has made no efforts to review government contracts with Musk's companies.
