A South Korean KF-16 fighter jet was damaged Wednesday during a multinational drill led by the U.S. in Alaska.
According to authorities the two pilots were forced to eject in response to an emergency situation during take-off.
The pilots were transferred to a nearby hospital and are said to be in stable condition.
A separate team from the South Korean Air Force will head an investigation into the incident.
