S. Korea's southern Jeju Island seeks to draw in digital nomads

On the sidelines of the annual Jeju Forum for Peace and Prosperity a panel session was held on Wednesday to discuss ways for the southern island to better appeal to digital nomads.

The session touched upon the experience of Estonia given its launch of a digital nomad visa back in 2020 to encourage remote workers to live in Estonia while working for foreign employers.

Likewise Jeju is hoping to emerge as a productive digital nomad location here in Asia.
