Two people, including a child, were seriously injured and 25 others taken to hospital after a vehicle ploughed into a crowd of people celebrating Liverpool FC's Premier League championship victory on Monday.
According to reports, a 53-year-old man who is believed to have been the driver was arrested at the scene.
The vehicle drove into a crowd of fans on Water Street in Liverpool's city center just after 6 PM as hundreds of thousands of fans gathered to watch Liverpool FC's Premier League victory parade.
The vehicle struck several pedestrians before coming to a stop.
Authorities are not treating the incident as terrorism but are investigating what led to the incident and have asked people to refrain from sharing "distressing content online."
