Ukrainian military officials said Sunday that Russia had launched its largest drone attack since the invasion began in February 2022.
Ukraine's Air Force said the attack on Saturday night killed one person in the Kyiv region and injured at least three others, including a four-year-old child.
Officials also said the strikes prove Russia has no intention of stopping the war, despite international pressure for a ceasefire.
Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin reiterated Sunday that a peace deal with Ukraine should "eliminate the causes that triggered this crisis" and "guarantee Russia's security."
His comments come as U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he will speak separately to Putin and Zelenskyy on Monday about a potential ceasefire agreement.
