The Panmunjom tour program, which was suspended due to heightened tensions between the two Koreas, will resume this week after 18 months.
According to the Ministry of Unification on Thursday, the Panmunjom tour, which was suspended over safety considerations, will resume on Friday as a special tour program.
The special tour is only available to a select group.
Friday's tour will involve 17 students from the National Unification Education Institute's Unification Policy Leadership Course.
The tour was completely suspended in July 2023 after a U.S. soldier crossed over to North Korea from the site.
