Acting Pres. calls for transparent election, focus on people's livelihoods until new gov't

Acting President Lee Ju-ho has urged government officials to maintain political neutrality as presidential hopefuls engage in campaigns ahead of the June third election.

At a Cabinet meeting on this Tuesday he also called for efforts to ensure election transparency and public safety adding that this is the government's final priority.

He further touched upon the presence of economic challenges especially for small business owners and the self-employed while underscoring the need for prompt execution of the recently passed supplementary budget to support them as well as victims of the recent wildfires.
