Iran and the United States concluded their fourth round of nuclear negotiations in Muscat, Oman, on Sunday.
The talks, mediated by Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr al-Busaidi, lasted approximately three hours and were described as "difficult but useful."
Both sides expressed cautious optimism at the progress made, despite ongoing disagreements over uranium enrichment, a central issue of the negotiations.
Iran maintains that its right to enrich uranium for civilian purposes is non-negotiable, while the U.S. insists on a complete halt to such activities and dismantling related infrastructure.
Despite the differences, both parties agreed to schedule a fifth round of talks.
