U.S. President Donald Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., arrived in South Korea on Tuesday at the invitation of Shinsegae Group Chairman Chung Yong-jin.
Trump Jr. is scheduled to meet with approximately 20 Korean business leaders during a two-day visit.
South Korean exporters to the U.S., especially manufacturers in the semiconductor, auto, and defense sectors, are reportedly keen to engage with him.
Leaders from Samsung, SK, and other companies will reportedly exchange opinions on economic issues and strengthen networks between Korea and the U.S.
