Canada's Liberal Party has won a fourth consecutive election, with Mark Carney set to become the next prime minister.
The former central bank governor took office last month, following predecessor Justin Trudeau's resignation, and quickly called a snap election, prompting Canadians to vote on Monday.
He highlighted his crisis management experience, hoping Canadians would see him as the strongest leader to confront U.S. President Trump amid a trade war.
The party's remarkable recovery follows a challenging period, but uncertainty remains over whether the Liberals secured a majority, which would require it to get backing from other parties to govern.
