S. Korea to hold second senior APEC officials meeting on Jeju next month

A second meeting of senior delegates from APEC member states will begin this coming Saturday on Jeju Island for a two-week session.

This is according to the Foreign Ministry here.

The first such gathering took place earlier in March in Gyeongju the host city of this year's APEC summit which is scheduled to take place in late autumn.

Over three-thousand officials are expected to fly into Jeju for the latest forum that includes discussions on demographic trends and artificial intelligence.
