The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced its 2025 inductees on Sunday, honoring a diverse group of artists who have influenced the music industry.
Among the honorees are Chubby Checker, a Philadelphia-born singer renowned for popularizing "The Twist," and Cyndi Lauper, celebrated for her hits like "Girls Just Want to Have Fun."
Inductees are selected by fans and industry experts.
Eligible artists must have released their first recording at least 25 years ago.
The induction ceremony is scheduled for November 8 in Los Angeles.
