Israeli strike hits hospital in Gaza City

In the Middle East.

An Israeli airstrike hit one of the last remaining fully operational medical center in Gaza City.

In the wee hours of Sunday local time Israeli missiles struck the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital reportedly destroying the emergency room outpatient clinic and pharmacy.

Other buildings within its vicinity including a church were also damaged.

The Israeli military claims the strike targeted a Hamas command center operating within the hospital.
