Gov't to provide US$ 6 bil. to support export companies

The government is poised to provide over nine-trillion won, about six-billion U.S. dollars in financial support for export businesses.

The plan was announced during a meeting led by Finance Minister Choi Sang-mok on Friday.

The package includes loans at lower rates and crucial funding for operations.

A dedicated task force will also be set up to address changes in supply chains.
