NASA astronaut Jonny Kim has landed at the International Space Station becoming the first Korean-American to travel to space.
According to NASA Kim flew aboard a Russian spacecraft which reached the ISS at around 7:30 AM Eastern Daylight Time on Tuesday.
Kim and two Russian cosmonauts will stay at the station for about eight months conducting research and testing new technologies.
Kim is also a U.S. Navy officer and Harvard-trained doctor.
