Three of four missing U.S. Army soldiers found dead in Lithuania

In Lithuania, three of the four U.S. soldiers missing since last week have been found dead.

According to a U.S. Army announcement on Monday, the bodies of three soldiers and an armored vehicle were recovered from a peat bog after days of intense searching using heavy equipment.

The soldiers, assigned to the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, had been taking part in a training mission near the border with Belarus when their vehicle was reported missing.

Efforts continue to locate the fourth missing soldier while the cause of the incident remains under investigation.
