A seven-point-seven magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar on Friday, also causing damage in neighboring Thailand's capital city of Bangkok.
At least 20 people were confirmed killed in Myanmar, and three in Thailand but the death toll is feared to rise into the hundreds.
States of emergency have been declared in both countries.
The United States Geological Survey said the quake had a shallow depth of about 6 miles.
Tremors were also felt in China's Yunnan province.
