France to provide extra military aid for Ukraine

French President Emmanuel Macron announced Wednesday an additional 2.2 billion U.S. dollars worth of military aid for Ukraine.

The package includes anti-tank missiles, air defense systems, armored vehicles, drones, and additional Mirage fighter jets.

The announcement was made during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Paris ahead of a summit involving around 30 nations, referred to as the "Coalition of the Willing."

The coalition aims to enhance support for Ukraine and discuss Europe's role in deterring future Russian aggression.
