The Navy held a memorial service earlier on this Wednesday in honor of the sailors killed during the sinking of the Cheonan warship on March 26th 2010.
The warship went down near the western Northern Limit Line after being hit by a North Korean torpedo.
46 South Korean sailors lost their lives.
Some two hundred people including bereaved family members were present at this year's memorial service in Pyeongtaek that marks the 15th anniversary of the tragic event.
