The UN Human Rights Council has adopted the final results of the fourth Universal Periodic Review on North Korea on Tuesday local time.
At Tuesday's meeting in Geneva, South Korea expressed regret over North Korea's rejection of nearly half of the 294 recommendations and urged action.
South Korea also called for the immediate release of three detained missionaries and the resolution of long-standing issues, including abductees and prisoners of war.
It also highlighted the impact of North Korea's "extreme militarization" on human rights.
