White House affirms commitment to working with S. Korea's Acting President Han Duck-soo

Following the return of South Korea's Acting President and Prime Minister Han Duck-soo to office on Monday, the White House confirmed its commitment to working with him.

The Prime Minister's Office here shared a statement on Tuesday that included the first remarks made by the Trump administration on Han's return to office.

It said that the U.S. is committed to working with Han and the South Korean government, further expressing confidence in the "democratic resilience" of South Korea and its people.
