Second vice FM meets UN Deputy Secretary-General to discuss N. Korea and cooperation

Second Vice Foreign Minister Kang In-sun met with UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed in New York on Monday on the margins of a UN Security Council meeting.

Their talks covered the importance of multilateral cooperation to address security concerns, including North Korea's military collaboration with Russia.

Separately, Kang also sat down with officials from the UN Development Programme to propose more meaningful joint projects as Korea seeks to further expand its global contributions.
