The Blue Ghost spacecraft has become the first private lunar lander to successfully complete its mission.
According to its U.S. company Firefly Aerospace on Monday Blue Ghost transmitted some 1-hundred-20 gigabytes of data back to Earth upon landing on March 2nd well beyond expectations.
It also stands as the longest-running commercial lunar mission operating for 14 days to break a number of records including that for receiving the farthest GPS signal on the moon adopting a vacuum to gather and sort lunar dust and using a drill to gauge soil temperatures.
