[Weather] Rain and snow forecast during the Samiljeol holiday, temperatures stay warm

There will be no worries about the cold during the Samiljeol holiday, which starts tomorrow, but rain or snow is expected to fall across the country.

Rain will begin in the Jeolla-do provinces and Jeju Island tomorrow morning and will spread to the whole country in the afternoon.

The amount of rainfall will be as little as 5 to as much as 30 millimeters.

Rain will turn into snow in northeastern parts of Gyeonggi-do Province, Gangwon-do Province, and the mountainous areas of northeast Gyeongsangbuk-do Province.

In particular, heavy snow of up to 20 centimeters is predicted in the mountainous areas of Gangwon-do Province. Please be prepared in advance.

Seoul and Gwangju will start off at 5 degrees Celsius tomorrow morning, Busan at 7 degrees.

Daily highs will move up to 13 degrees in Seoul and Chuncheon, 19 degrees in Jeju and Gyeongju.

Daytime temperatures will rise to double digits throughout the weekend nationwide.
