On Monday, a lawsuit was filed against Elon Musk and the Office of Personnel Management, contesting Musk's recent email, demanding that all federal workers list their accomplishments from the previous week. The email also said non-compliance to the order would be considered "resignation."

President Donald Trump supported Musk's initiative saying the email aimed to verify active employment, suggesting that non-responsive employees might not be fulfilling their duties.
