[Weather] Freezing cold wave across the country with dry atmosphere

The temperature has been dropping as the cold accumulates from the beginning of the week.

Seoul recorded minus 7 degrees Celsius this morning, and with gusty winds everywhere, the temperature has felt like it is below freezing all day nationwide.

With cold wave warnings and advisories across the country, the morning temperature will plummet to minus 7 degrees Celsius, about 4 degrees lower than the average.

Meanwhile, the air is getting drier day by day.

Dry weather warnings have been extended further with strong winds of around 15 meters per second all over the country. Please be careful not to cause wildfires.

Tomorrow morning will stay freezing across the country with Chuncheon at minus 11 degrees.

Highs will move up to 2 degrees in Seoul, and 5 degrees in Daegu, Gyeongju, and Jeju.

This frigid cold will ease off from early next week.
