BLACKPINK to be first K-pop girl group to perform at Wembley Stadium

Wembley Stadium in London will turn pink this summer.

Because BLACKPINK is poised to become the first ever K-pop girl group to perform at the stadium on August 15th.

The group's agency YG Entertainment announced on Thursday that BLACKPINK will kick off a mega world tour this year starting in Seoul on July 5th.

The tour will run through ten cities including New York, Paris, Milan, and Tokyo.

During their previous "BORN PINK" world tour the group set a fresh record by attracting some 1.8 million fans.
